ECEN seeks to - Build an effective voluntary, community and faith sector network
- Make links between smaller voluntary, community and faith organisations
- Facilitate local voluntary, community and faith organisations working together
- Raise awareness of, and enhance the capacity of voluntary, community and faith organisations to participate in, the Enfield Strategic Partnership (ESP) and its supporting structures
- Promote effective information sharing and dissemination
- Find ways of gauging local people's views through voluntary, community and faith organisations
- Promote inclusion and improve engagement with a wide range of communities
- Represent the views of all organisations
- Increase the involvement of marginalised groups by demonstrating an appreciation and awareness of the social diversity across and within groups
