ECEN Representation and Involvement Meetings take place twice yearly months. They are usually held at Community House, 311 Fore Street, Edmonton, N9 OPZ and start at either 4pm or 6pm.
They are open to all voluntary and community groups in Enfield.
The prime function of the Representation and Involvement Meetings is to provide an opportunity for ECEN representatives to give feedback from the strategic partnerships they sit on and for them to in turn receive feedback from the organisations in attendance at the meeting. This way groups can ensure that they have a real say in the way services are delivered in Enfield.
This is also the place where ECEN business is discussed, for example, to agree the Steering Group's proposals for future ECEN activities, aims and objectives. Where necessary, voting takes places at Representation and Involvement Meetings. Only one representative from each ECEN member organisation can vote.
The ECEN Equalities Policy and Action Plan Working Group has produced an inclusivity checklist to be used when planning meetings and events. It lists all the things we need to consider when planning an event, to make it accessible to as many people as possible.
