THE SELECTION PROCESS

Unlike elected ECEN representatives ES Participants will be selected against a set criteria based on the skills and knowledge required to act as an ES Participant on the partnership boards, Children's Trust Executive Group, children's area partnerships and/or the Edmonton Partnership.  A ES Participant Selection Panel has been formed to shortlist the applications and meet with those that are shortlisted. The panel members are:

  • Litsa Worrall (ECEN Steering Group Chair)
  • Felicity Cox (Partnership Manager for Health and Well-being at London Borough of Enfield; Link Officer for the Health and Well-being Board, Older People's Board and the Health Improvement Partnership)
  • Tracy Jenkins (Children's Trust Manager at London Borough of Enfield)
  • Niel Niehorster (Head of Integrated Community Learning Disabilities Services; co-Chair of the Learning Difficulties Partnership Board)

Tony Seagroatt (ECEN Steering Group member) and the Children's Area Partnership Co-ordinators have agreed to act as reserve panelists in the event that one or more of the above are unable to attend all of the Selection Panel Meetings.

The Selection Panel will meet to shortlist ES Participant candidates on the following dates: 1 and 2 March 2010.

Shortlisted candidates will then be invited to meet with the Selection Panel on one of the following dates: 9, 10 or 15 March 2010.
