ECEN Steering Group

The ECEN Steering Group is a group of people who get together to agree ECEN objectives, plan its development and oversee the production each year of ECEN's delivery plan.  Members come from ECEN member organisations and are elected by the ECEN membership.

There are 5 places on the ECEN Steering Group.  Each member comes from a different organisation.  The current members are:

As Enfield Voluntary Action is the responsible body which receives the funding for ECEN, Steering Group meetings are also attended by a representative from Enfield Voluntary Action's Trustee Board, who chairs the meetings.  The current Enfield Voluntary Action Trustee Representative is Litsa Worrall, email enquiries@ggcce.org.uk.

The Steering Group has several roles:

  • Making sure that the ECEN works well and does what it is supposed to do
  • Making sure the ECEN is accessible to all organisations in Enfield
  • Ensuring that organisations which are often excluded from decision making are involved
  • Planning each yearÂ’s activities
  • Ensuring that the principles of community involvement and participation underpin the work of the ECEN
