How is the ECEN different from Enfield Voluntary Action (EVA)?

EVA is a Council for Voluntary Service (CVS). It exists to promote and develop the effectiveness of the voluntary/community sector by providing a range of support services for individual organisations in the London Borough of Enfield.

EVA's main areas of work include providing advice, information, support and training for individual organisations, recruiting volunteers and getting businesses involved. EVA also sets up short term specialist forums or events as well as one longer term structure, the Voluntary Sector Health and Social Care Organisation.

The Enfield Community Empowerment Network (ECEN) is different in that it is a broad based network established to facilitate representation and participation of voluntary and community organisations at the highest level of decision making in Enfield.
