This website exists to promote communication and collaboration between members of the Enfield Community Empowerment Network, the voluntary/community sector in Enfield and the local population. In order to make this website as accessible and friendly as possible we only have a few 'rules and regulations', however, the few that we do have are very important and you are asked to read and understand them before publishing anything on this server. NB: This is a list of dos. Please refer to Website Acceptable Use Policy for a list of don'ts! Site contributors (ECEN members only) Please get into the practise of carefully reading any content you create, eg. organisational details and notices for the Community Notice Board, to check that it contains all the essential bits of information people will need to make sense of it and does not require any mind-reading on the part of the reader. A good rule of thumb is to ask yourself the 'who, what, where, why, how & when' series of questions. For instance, if you are adding details of a forthcoming event such as a neighbourhood lunch these could be: What is the event about? Who should attend? When is it taking place (date and time!)? Where is it taking place? Why should people attend? How can people confirm their attendance? |
